New tool will make affiliates' jobs 'much easier'
A new tool for affiliate marketers and affiliate managers has been unveiled at an international summit held in Las Vegas.
The Affiliate Link Encoder, which makes the process of adding affiliate links automatic, debuted at the Affiliate Summit 2008 West conference held last week between February 24th to 26th.
Writing on her blog at marketingpilgrim.com, Janet Meiners recommended the tool, adding that "as an affiliate this would make my job much easier".
"Any time you link to a product or service with a merchant in Avant Link's network, a piece of javascript automatically changes the links and redirects it to an affiliate link."
Making it the ninth Affiliate Summit to date, the event was a sell out with approximately 2,700 attendees and 120 exhibitor booths. It also hosted the Affiliate Summit Pinnacle Awards Show, which recognised outstanding affiliate marketers in six categories, including Affiliate of the Year, Best Blogger (won by Sam Harrelson) and Exceptional Merchant, which went to CSN Stores.
